BAZ HALPIN - President & CEO A native of Ireland, Baz has lived both in London and Dublin, and relocated to Los Angeles permanently in 2010. He began in the entertainment industry in 1996 in Dublin, working as a lighting crew chief and programmer before moving to London to pursue a career in touring. Over the years, Baz has designed and directed some of the world's largest, most prestigious tours and performances. As the President and CEO of Silent House and Resident Director/Producer, Baz has his hand in a variety of projects, from television, film, and touring to large scale spectaculars.
TAMLYN WRIGHT - Production Designer & Partner Tamlyn recently joined the Silent House team, and brings with her over 18 years of Designing and Art Direction experience on some of the biggest shows on television. Her past projects include the MTV Movie Awards, the VMAs, the Academy Awards, the Emmys, Nick Sports Awards and the Grammys. Tamlyn has also designed for live pop acts, such as One Direction and Miley Cyrus Unplugged for MTV. Tamlyn has been nominated for seven primetime Emmys Awards, and has won four for her art direction of the 75th & 79th Academy Awards, Grammy Awards and the MTV Video Music Awards. Tamlyn is also currently teaching a master class in live show design at Cal Arts.
CORY FITZGERALD - Creative Director, Lighting Designer & Partner Cory started out working at a lighting shop in Los Angeles in 1998 and has descended into the madness that is live production ever since. After completing his degree at NYU, he moved into programming, touring, both for musical acts and a variety of Broadway and off Broadway theatrical work. Recent projects include designing for a variety of artists such as Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, Janet Jackson, Gwen Stefani, Skirllex, and many more. He currently resides in Los Angeles California and recently became a Senior Design Partner at Silent House Productions.
ALEX REARDON - Creative Director, Designer Born in London, Alex started in the production industry in lighting in 1993, then moved to Los Angeles in 1998 as a lighting designer and programmer. Subsequently, he moved into set design, directing, and creative producing for some of the best-known artists spanning a broad spectrum of musical styles. As a classically trained musician and the son of an architect, Alex’s design vision combines musicality with an appreciation of form and function. He understands that, for any show to be a success, three elements need to be in balance; aesthetics, logistics and finance.
MELISSA GARCIA - Creative Director Melissa joined the Silent House Productions family in 2012. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she grew up in the entertainment industry, singing and dancing. Her first big break was singing for the iconic movie, Beaches, where she performed “The Glory of Love” for the young Bette Midler, CeCe Bloom. As a dancer, she has been privileged to be part of numerous world tours and has shared the stage with artists such as Celine Dion, Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Katy Perry, No Doubt, and Paulina Rubio. Melissa also received a BFA in Public Relations from Chapman University. With the saying, “Once an Entertainer, always an entertainer,” Melissa is at home with Silent House, where she can bring her experience and knowledge as a performer to the production side.
JESSICA GAFFNEY - Graphic Designer, Office Manager Jessica joined Silent House in 2012 after 4 years of professional architectural design practice in Seattle. Her world travels, life experiences, and work on a variety of performing arts and architectural projects lends a unique perspective to the team. She has significant experience with hand drawing, 2D and 3D computer drafting, rendering, and concept design. Jessica has a Bachelor of Science from Montana State and a Master of Landscape Architecture from Ball State College of Architecture and Planning. Sheʼs passionate about sustainability, creating responsive and immersive experiences, and visually striking graphics.
LETICIA LEON - Art Director Leticia Leon graduated from California Institute of the Arts where she earned her BFA in Theatrical Scenic Design/Production. She joined Silent House after completing an internship with the company and landed the role of Assistant Art Director/Art Director. Currently Leticia has helped assist and Art Direct numerous live shows and events, as well as televised productions under the supervision of Tamlyn Wright, Baz Halpin and Cory FitzGerald. Having studied only theater, Leticia is excited to collaborate in the world of live musical events, spectacles, and immersive environments. She brings a fresh perspective to the team.
AMANDA HAMILTON - 3D Artist, Draftsperson Amanda joined the Silent House team in 2016. Prior to joining, she was the lead production designer at V Squared Labs for three years where her focus was on lighting and visual design integration. She specialized in touring productions, festival stages, nightclub installations as well as experiential events and has worked with EDM artists Steve Aoki, Zhu, Krewella, Dillon Francis and the Chainsmokers. She holds a Bachelors of Architecture from the University of Kentucky and a Masters of Architecture from UCLA where she was active in theater design, projection mapping and visual programming. She is excited to learn and grow at Silent House under the direction of Baz Halpin, Tamlyn Wright and Cory FitzGerald.
NOLAN PADILLA - Associate Creative Director Living in Los Angeles, CA. for over a decade, Nolan Padilla has danced with some of the biggest artists in the industry as well as performed on many of the world’s largest stages. From Mary J. Blige to Taylor Swift. From Cirque Du Soleil to “The 2015 Super Bowl Halftime Show” with Katy Perry. With an undeniable passion for music and movement, he continues to share “His Groove” with the world. Recently having the opportunities as Supervising Choreographer for The Backstreet Boys “Larger Than Life” Las Vegas Residency at Planet Hollywood, Contributing Choreographer/Assistant/Dance Capt./Dancer on Taylor Swift’s “1989 World Tour”; Choreographer for Boys II Men, Nelly and Flo Rida, Assistant Choreographer for “The Disneyland 60th Anniversary Special” with Dick Van Dyke, Selena Gomez’s “Revival Tour”, and Associate Choreographer for Step Up “All In”. Nolan’s passion and dedication for his art continues to grow stronger with every step.
VINCENT RICHARDS - Studio Design Director A native of Los Angeles, Vincent Richards designs and creates live experiences. His collaborations with directors, visual artists, design firms and choreographers have been presented across the United States, as well as internationally in Japan, Russia, Iceland and the U.K. The venues for his creations cover the full spectrum of immersive experiential settings including: theme parks, museums, theaters, galleries, and concert halls. In 2012 he was awarded the Princess Grace Faberge Theater Award by the Princess Grace Foundation. He has a Master of Fine Arts from CalArts.
JAKE FORBES - Draftsperson Jake Forbes began his professional career in live events in 2012. After years of designing lighting for theatrical productions, he began working as a stage hand for concerts and cooperate events. In 2014 he received his degree in Theatrical Lighting Design and Production at California State University, Fullerton. He went on to become an Associate Production Manager at Visions Lighting, and later 4Wall OC. He has experience designing, drafting, and planning all aspects of execution for events, as well as leading teams onsite. Having a background in both theatrical and live productions, Jake is excited to bring his diverse knowledge to the Silent House team.
BRENT LAMBERT - Illustrator Brent began his design career with a five-year Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carleton University, which included a semester of intensive drawing instruction in Rome, as well as an internship in the art department of MTV Studios in Times Square. His entry into the world of professional design began when he joined the San Francisco-based architecture and industrial design firm Eight Inc. which designed the very first Apple retail stores in the world. For the next sixteen years, Brent worked as a set designer and illustrator in the film industry on such films as: X-MEN Dark Phoenix, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, X-MEN: Apocalypse, X-MEN: Days of Future Past, 300, and many more. An accomplished writer, Brent is also the Entertainment Editor at BELLO magazine (@BELLOmag).
